Established in 1979, Glen Industries is the vocational and industrial division of The Arc of Schuyler. Glen Industries’ primary purpose is to assist people with disabilities in finding meaningful employment. To achieve this, a strong partnership with area businesses is required.

Vision: Glen Industries will eliminate barriers to employment by training and supporting people to meet the changing needs of the business community.

Mission: Glen Industries offers businesses value added services through contracts or through referral and placement of trained personnel. Glen Industries is committed to employment of people facing challenges and barriers to full employment through ongoing training and skill development.

Glen Industries:

• Can help businesses apply for Federal and New York state tax credits and reimbursements related to employing individuals with disabilities

• Can demystify the Americans with Disabilities Act, and demonstrate how hiring people with disabilities can make good business sense

• Has more than 5000 square feet of work space, convenient loading dock and a workforce prepared to handle long or short term assembly, packaging and industrial operations

• Offers a free consultation to assess your labor and production needs

• Offers transportation to bring our workers to your location or move your materials to our work center

• As a member of both NYSID and NISH, we can help you sell your product or service to the State of New York and/or the Federal Government
